John McLeod Principal Contractors Ltd are a Joinery Manufacturing & Construction company, located in the historic and picturesque village of Doune, Perthshire Scotland. Established in 2000 by husband and wife, John and Lorna. The company today continues under their management, alongside their very skilled workforce.

Preserving traditional skills is vital within our company, training apprentices and safegarding the future of quality craftmanship. We work closley with schools and further education centres to facilitate the longevity of apprenticeship programmes.

Manufactured timber products from within our purpose built facility under the expertise of our workshop bench joiners and wood machinists - a combined 140 years of knowledge and experience. Specialists in one off timeless pieces or large scale manufacturing.

We offer a comprehensive construction package encompassing all elements from design to completion. Each stage of your project will be carefully managed by our construction team who specialise in new builds, renovations, conversions and restorations.
